A New Look Pinchjo’s

December 3, 2013

Pinchjo’s on Burton Road, West Didsbury is a firm favourite. The food is fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced, especially given the size of the portions. And especially when Joe runs one of his flash 50% off food nights – if you’ve not done this before, I’d suggest you follow him on Twitter, as that’s where he announces these “sales”.

There’s also been a bit of refurb at the Burton Road restaurant – benches & booths and colourful throws and cushions in rich reds, yellows and oranges create a cosy atmosphere and the seating arrangement – although never a problem before – is now much better, as it seems just a bit more sociable.  The menu has also been changed, as have the menus themselves. If you have a gluten intolerance then this the place for you – dishes are clearly labelled and there is an excellent range of choice if you prefer your food gluten-free. As well as top notch food, the drinks are also something that Joe puts a lot of thought into – can highly recommend the house wine, which is not a cheapo bottle of plonk. It’s good stuff, very reasonabley priced and sourced from Reserve Wines, just a few doors away. Local independents supporting local independents. Just what we love 🙂
