Christmas in Manchester

It’s always nice to mix a bit of business with pleasure and Wednesday of last week saw us heading off into Manchester for a couple of meetings – first one involved a lunch time meet up so it seemed a good idea to take in the Christmas Markets too. Christmas has definitely taken over Manchester City Centre – and if you have an aversion to all things festive, our advice would be to avoid town at all costs. However, if you love all things tinselly, then Manchester City Centre is the place for you currently. As well as the main market in Albert Square, there are markets in St Anne’s Square, Brazennose Street, New Cathedral Street, Exchange Square – it’s not an exaggeration to say there’s a market around literally every corner…
