What A Wonderful West Didsbury Weekend – WestFest2011Part 1

September 5, 2011

So, once again, rain of Mancunian proportions held off for our third West Didsbury festival that celebrates our growing number of independent businesses along Burton Road, Lapwing Lane and Nell Lane. We even had glorious sunshine on Sunday afternoon. Then, as has become the custom, the weather changes on the Sunday evening – and autumn has arrived on the Monday morning. And that happened today.

We’ve lots more things than usual to put out post WestFest, and MANY thank-yous, so will keep this one short, with a few of the seminal images from WestFest2011…

So, the kids seemed to enjoy it, with plenty of face painting, Punch & Judy, sparkly bouquet making, balloon modelling etc. But we think the adults also enjoyed it too –
