Not long opened, Milly Mog has fast become another of West Didsbury’s lovely independent businesses. Emma, the owner of the children’s boutique clothes store, has an eye for all things “on trend” and has created a shop that brings you the latest designs for your little ones.

But Milly Mog is not just about kids’ clothes. It’s about a shop that understands how it is to operate in an independent business community. A shop that understands that through collaboration, we become a really cohesive community.

And so Milly Mog decided to to take a real community approach to the launch of the Autumn/Winter Collection. Thursday 1st September saw an event which combined the new collection, the launch of Milly Mog’s WestFest event, a collaboration with other local independent businesses and a prize draw, the proceeds of which were donated to Manchester Children’s Hospital.

All in all, it was a lovely event which did what Emma had set out to do – raise money for Manchester Children’s Hospital and raise awareness of Milly Mog. With a few bottles of fizz thrown in, tapas treats from Pinchjos and lots of neighbouring business owners showing support, it was a really lovely event…

So, job done by Milly Mog. Money raised for Manchester Children’s Hospital, food and fizz enjoyed by guests, new collection showcased and WestFest launched.
