Joe and the team at Pinchjo’s have recently unveiled their new menu, as well as their new online booking facility. It was really good to see that on a very cold, wet and windy Wednesday evening, this gorgeous, cosy Tapas restaurant on Burton Road, West Didsbury was packed. We managed to be squeezed in – which was great, as we’d been wanting to try out some of the new dishes since designing the revamped menus.

One of the best things about Pinchjo’s is that all of the dishes are freshly cooked. You know that you’re being served good stuff here. And, with very large portions – giant tapas – as we like to call them, it’s also very good value.

We had a real variety of tastes – meatballs, garlic prawns (delicious), cauliflower and cumin fritas (beautifully spicy & fragranced), patatas bravas (cooked to perfection with peppers, and without that horrible gloopy tomato paste you often find dropped on top of potatoes) and manchego. All washed down with a lovely Pinot Grigio.

The new menu was going down a storm last Wednesday – we’d definitely recommend that you get yourself along and recreate a bit of summer with the Mediterranean inspired selection. You could also check out Pinchjo’s profile on Didsbury Life and be kept up to date with the latest news, events and offers.
