Inheritance Isn’t Always Good…

October 13, 2010

It’s been pointed out that if you search on “Green Tea Restaurant, Didsbury” in Google, the first result is the old style green website.

As developers of the new site, and the joint force behind the refurbishment of the restaurant, WeAreLife is MORE than aware of this. The developers of the original Green Tea website registered the restaurant domain name in their own name, not that of the restaurant owners. The web design company is now defunct – their email address and contact details being meaningless.

We are working with Green Tea Restaurant to resolve this issue. Until it can be resolved – which may ultimately mean the original name going into  dispute resolution – we are aware that the name we have chosen to adopt (“Green Tea Didsbury”) will take some time to “rise up the charts”.

There are experts out there – clearly, as they have dispensed advice to Green Tea. Thanks for your advice – but we do know what we’re doing. And Green Tea know that we know that we know what we’re doing…

In the meantime, Green Tea goes from strength to strength. We’re working towards the official launch – Friday 22 October. New images are ready to be uploaded to the website, as well as a series of mini episodes filmed by a lovely new company introduced to us by Moregeous.

So – just to re-cap.

The NEW Green Tea website can be found at www.greenteadidsbury.com. (The one we’re trying to get rid of is www. greentearestaurant.co.uk – the green website)

WE know you know what you’re doing, honey. And unlike many companies, you go way way above and beyond what you ever have to. Can’t WAIT for the launch and filming 🙂 xx
