Day 4 in the Project Green Tea House

So, Day 4 in the Project Green Tea House is over – although sadly, the Didsbury Life/WestFest/WeAreLife day is not over! What’s happened today?

Well – in no particular order –

  • “Toxic Box” unsealed & safe
  • New washroom window installed
  • Plaster hacked off to ascertain journey of dry rot – gladly, it hadn’t travelled too far (much like Didsbury Life at the moment!)
  • Skirtings removed
  • Pipes sunk
  • Illuminated green leaves & wok (if you’ve never noticed them – good!) – electricity supply cut & removed
  • Sink taken out
  • Chandelier delivered by Moregeous to DL office for safe keeping – & it is the most delicate, piece of beauty – to go in the toilet. It will be the most talked about toilet in Didsbury!
  • Exterior primed, puttied, sanded & under-coating started
  • Many cups of coffee carried up & down Burton Rd – come on local establishments! Give me a break & give the Life gang coffee!
  • And of course, let us not forget – Manchester rain!

So, images from Day 4…

And, surprisingly, we’re now off to Love2Eat Deli for the Monday Night Supper with Mr Ferrious – who has just delivered a very amazing product to the office, for a bit of a WestFest installation. But that’s another blog. Sicilian meatballs await us…
