Hello Didsbury!

February 14, 2010

There used to be a time when half term meant going on holiday, or at least winding down before the onslaught of the next half term. However, no longer! Half term now means a chance to really get my teeth into Didsbury Life projects and jobs – hence the start of our blog.

This week will see a bit of a spring clean on the site – all of the Valentine’s news and offers will be removed to replaced with lots of lovely updated information. We’re also working in the background re-developing the Didsbury Life site. Mike, our whizz of a programmer, is currently hard at work re-skinning the site & Chris, our hugely talented graphic designer is working up some very beautiful new designs. We’re hopeful the new version of Didsbury Life will be live before the end of the month, but as we have take a backseat to clients, it’s a case of working on it when we can. We’re also redeveloping the design website – http://www.wearelife.co.uk. This is very near to launch and all design related stuff can be found on our We Are Life blog.

It feels very timely to be starting a blog today – there’s a real feeling of Spring in the air today. Burton Road is wakening up again, after a long, cold winter. Some very brave people are currently dining al fresco outside of Folk, the Burton Road Bakery is packed and Rhubarb is open for business. The street just has a very different feel to it – and of course, it helps when the sun is shining!

Keeping this post short and sweet, as much still to do on both Didsbury Life and We Are Life – and I feel the need of a visit to Love2Eat…
